Jim O'Kelley (born c. 1951 in Wadley, Georgia; died August 12, 2013 in Vestavia Hills was a criminal defense attorney and one-time assistant Alabama Attorney General under Bill Baxley.
O'Kelley completed a bachelor of arts at Auburn University in 1972 and a law degree at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1976. From 1972 to 1980 he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
O'Kelley died at home from a heart attack in 2013. He was survived by his wife, Kathy, and two children: Drue and Madison. He is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
