Joseph "JoBo" Country (born c. 1921; died May 23, 2008) was the Mayor of Cardiff for 20 years.

Country served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked at U.S. Steel for 34 years. He was president of the W. E. McGowen Hunt Club. He and his wife Sue had three daughters.

Country was elected Mayor of Cardiff in 1998 and served until his death. He was buried at Cardiff Cemetery. After Country died, no successor was elected or appointed to serve as mayor. A group of residents petitioned in 2017 for the town to be dissolved.
