Jocelynn Ayanna

Jocelyn Ayanna (born Jocelyn Anderson c. 1971 in Birmingham) is an attorney and actress.

Anderson graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School and the University of Alabama. She completed a law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and worked for five years in entertainment law in New York City while also pursuing a career in film production. She was a production assistant on the 2001 feature film World Traveler, which was shot partly in Birmingham.

Anderson later moved to Los Angeles, California worked as an organizer for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. She then enrolled in acting classes and began auditioning for roles, using the name "Jocelyn Ayanna", in early 2010. Thus far she has appeared in guest parts on series including "Modern Family" and "Scandal" and landed a recurring role as "Officer Barbour" in the FX series "Justified".
