John B. Crist (born March 20, 1984 in Lilburn, Georgia) is a stand-up comedian and writer of on-line comedy videos. He is often identified as a "Christian comedian," and much of his material references Christian churches and pop culture.

Crist is the son of a Christian pastor, and was home-schooled along with his seven siblings. His first job was at a Chick-fil-A restaurant, but he was fired for stirring lemonade with his hand. He attended Samford University and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

After graduating, Crist moved to Colorado and began appearing at open mic nights at local comedy clubs, as well as at churches, restaurants and casinos. In 2009 he performed on Louie Anderson's Las Vegas comedy show "Larger Than Life". In 2012 he won the "Got Laughs" competition at the Denver Improv and was a finalist on Comedy Central's "Up Next" competition. He also participated in a tour for US troops in the Middle East.

Crist's first comedy special, I Got Questions, was released on DVD in late 2015. The following summer his sketch, "Christian Music: How It's Made," produced by Aaron Chewning, went viral on YouTube. Crist's first headlining tour began in Fall 2017 across the East Coast. In 2018 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and began dating singer Lauren Alaina. His second headlining tour, "The Human Being Tour", spanned into 2019 with stops in 55 cities.

In late 2019 Crist was accused of inappropriate sexual harassment. In November he canceled his remaining tour dates, issuing a statement acknowledging, "sexual sin and addiction struggles." Planned releases of a Netflix special and book were both placed on hold.
