Joseph P. Giattina Jr is an architect and a founder and now president emeritus of Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio.

Giattina is the son of legendary bandleader Joe Giattina. He earned his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1961.

Giattina started as secretary/treasurer of Giattina Fisher Aycock in 1973, then became vice-president in 1976 and took over as president four years later. He handed over the president's chair to his son, Christopher Giattina in 2007. He plans to remain active in leading design projects, but also to spend more time to visit his grandparent's homeland of Sicily and to pursue cooking.

Giattina is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
