Kathryn Woodson Barr

Kathryn Woodson Barr (born 1964) is the head of the Highlands School since July 2006.

Barr, originally from Nashville, was previously the Head of the Lower School at Grace-St Luke's Episcopal School in Memphis, where she has taught since 1983. She holds a B.A. in business administration from Rhodes College and an M.A. in teaching curriculum and instruction from the University of Memphis.

She is married to Thomas Barr, a mathematics professor, and has three children, Rebecca, Elizabeth, and Thomas, Jr.
