Kenny Hollis

Kenny "Guard Dog" Hollis (born October 29, 1982 in Birmingham) is a linebacker for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.

Hollis graduated from Minor High School. He transferred to Louisiana State University from East Mississippi Junior College in Scooba for the the 2003 season and became a starter midway through 2004. He played in 28 games for the Bengal Tigers, recording 78 tackles, 3 sacks, 10 1/2 tackles for loss, and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.

He played for Edmonton in 2007, recording 1 tackle, and was released on July 23, but was then invited back to practice three weeks later.

When not playing football, Hollis is employed as a guard at the maximum-security Donaldson Correctional Facility in western Jefferson County.
