Lloyd Wood Middle School is a middle school located at 2300 26th Avenue in Northport and operated by the Tuscaloosa County Schools system. It opened in 1962.
The school's athletic teams are called the Wildcats and its colors are blue and white.
The completion of a new Sipsey Valley Middle School in 2010 led to a large reduction in expected enrollment, from 560 to 190, at Lloyd Wood. Superintendent Frank Costanzo recommended closing the school and consolidating students at Collins-Riverside and Echols Middle Schools.
