Magicity Pedicabs

Magicity Pedicabs was a proposed pedicab business owned by Willie Pittman. Pittman planned to operate the bicycle-powered cabs in downtown Birmingham and Five Points South. As of January 2009, the City of Birmingham has no provisions allowing for pedicabs. Carol Duncan, then the Birmingham City Council's chairperson over the transportation and communication committee, stated that they committee is developing guidelines and hoped to have them in place before the Davis Cup tennis matches that March.
