Martha Bozeman

Martha Bozeman (born February 20, 1965 in Birmingham) is an attorney and was a 2010 candidate to represent the 7th Congressional District of Alabama.

Bozeman is one of seven children born to Sloss Furnaces worker Charles Bozeman and his wife Lilli. The family moved to North Birmingham in the late 1960s and she graduated from Phillips High School and was named "Miss Phillips High School" in 1983.

Bozeman went on to earn a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Montevallo and worked as a research assistant while completing a law degree at the Birmingham School of Law. She has since worked as a criminal defense attorney and as a political consultant and managed campaigns for Bernard Kincaid and Artur Davis.

Bozeman attends Sixth Avenue Baptist Church.
