McLeod Software is a privately-owned software company founded in 1985 by Tom McLeod which develops software products used in trucking and transportation.

By 2017 the company had more than 300 employees in the Birmingham area, with office space split between 53,300 square feet in the Acton Ridge Building, at 2550 Acton Road in unincorporated Jefferson County, and 15,000 square feet at 100 Concourse Parkway in the Riverchase Business Park.

In 2018 the company purchased and renovated the 140,000 square-foot Building 100 at the Meadow Brook Corporate Park on U.S. Highway 280 in Hoover. Their $21 million investment was offset by a $961,000 tax incentive offer from the City of Hoover. The deal was reached with assistance from the Birmingham Business Alliance, the Alabama Department of Commerce and 58 Inc. The new office opened on April 23, 2019. At that time, the company employed 388 people and expected to grow to 700 or more by 2022.
