McSweeney Holdings is a family-owned holding company based at 7769 Gadsden Highway in Trussville. The companies in its corporate group are primarily involved in vehicle customization.

Founder Rod McSweeney had previously operated AAA Auto Truck and Trailer in Oneonta and Southern Comfort Conversions, which moved from Trussville to Center Point in 2006, but was sold to a private equity firm in 2007 and shut down in 2009. McSweeney and his two sons, Matt and Michael re-entered the vehicle customization business that year as MCM Custom Vehicles (now SCA Performance), specializing in off-road GMC pickups.

Another company, IDEAcraft Engineering, was founded in 2011 to provide design, product engineering, and custom manufacturing for a range of industries. The Holding Company was incorporated in 2012, along with McSweeney Designs, which produces customized Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Range Rover luxury vehicles for corporate and government clients. It also serves as the parent company for the McSweeney Foundation charity and MCM Properties real estate portfolio.
