My Personal Assistant is a Birmingham-area company which provides concierge and staffing services for professionals and small businesses.

The company is a spin-off of Star Marketing Corporation, founded in 2002 by Diane Henderson, who has a background in employee benefits and human resources. Henderson created My Personal Assistant after noticing that small companies understaffed in their human resources departments, were outsourcing a lot of tasks to Star Marketing, which focuses primarily on human resources issues. Quickly, Henderson expanded the concept as those companies started asking her to arrange meetings, order business lunches and handle presentations.

My Personal Assistant can be hired for weekly and monthly duties, as well as one-off assignments such as wedding planning.
