National Action Network Freedom Summer is a volunteer campaign to support voter registration, voter participation and voting rights in eight Southern states during the 2014 election season. The campaign is organized by the National Action Network (NAN) of New York, New York and operates a campaign headquarters at 2013 1st Avenue North in Birmingham.
NAN president Al Sharpton attended the ribbon-cutting for the headquarters office on July 30, 2014.
