Nelson Smith (born 1910; died 1997) was a Birmingham-based architect.

He is perhaps best known for designing St Luke's Episcopal Church in Mountain Brook, where he was a member. He also worked with Stanley B. Echols in the repairs and reconstruction of 16th Street Baptist Church after it was bombed in 1963. The design of houses made up much of his practice.
