The New York Model Bakery was a commercial bakery opened on December 16, 1887 by J. F. Roessler and S. F. Herman, a former baker at the Lakeview Hotel. It was located at 212 22nd Street South.

The bakery made bread, cakes, pastries and ice cream for wholesale and retail sale, along with a line of fancy groceries. It specialized in rye and Graham breads. The store offered free delivery day and night on its own wagon.

By 1891 the bakery had burned to the ground.
