Night Owl Paper Goods

Night Owl Paper Goods is a stationer and printer operated by Alan Henderson and Jennifer Tatham. The couple met while working together at a design firm and art gallery and took on small projects after hours until founding Night Owl in 2004. The company is headquartered at 1016 Oxmoor Road in Homewood.

Night Owl uses 1920s vintage Chandler and Price letterpresses to create the products, which include note cards, invitations and announcments, holiday cards, wooden postcards, memo books with printed wood covers and cards with buttons sewn on.

Night Owl's wooden products are printed on thin veneers sliced from sustainably-harvested yellow birch. The milling process requires much less water and power than paper manufacture.
