Ola Kaellenius

Ola Källenius (or "Kaellenius") (born June 11, 1969 in Sweden) was head of Alabama operations for Mercedes-Benz US International in Tuscaloosa County.

Källenius began working for DaimlerChrysler as part of the finance department at the Alabama facility in 1995. He left to take over management of the engine and exhaust division in Stuttgart, Germany in 2000. In 2001 he was made Director of Powertrain Procurement. In 2003 he was lent to McLaren Automotive in Woking, England as Mercedes' representative in their joint development of high-performance cars. He also served as Executive Director of Operations for Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren production, overseeing Mercedes' high-performance engine plant in Brixworth.

In June 2009 Källenius was tapped to succeed Bill Taylor as director of the Alabama manufacturing facility. He left on April 1, 2010 to take on the position of managing director for Mercedes-Benz AMG GmbH in Affalterbach, Germany.
