Pamela Casey

Pamela Casey (born c. 1981 in Boaz) is the Blount County District Attorney.

Casey grew up in Snead and graduated from Susan Moore High School. She received her bachelor's degree in political science and history from Rhodes College in 2003, and her juris doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 2006. She returned to Blount County to practice in a private firm in Birmingham, and in 2007 was named Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama by Troy King.

In 2010, Casey became the youngest District Attorney ever elected in Alabama. Incumbent Tommy Rountree did not seek re-election, and Casey faced former District Attorney Scott McPherson, defeating him with 56.91% of the vote.
