Pelham Public Library

The Pelham Public Library is a public library operated by the City of Pelham and located in Pelham City Park at 2000 Pelham Park Boulevard. The library director is Mary Campbell.

Pelham established its library board on May 19, 1975, and re-established it on March 4, 1985.

The original 12,000 square foot building at 3160 Pelham Parkway was designed by Davis Architects. It was renovated in 1998. The facility was honored as a "Blue Ribbon Library" by the Alabama Library Association in 2005.

A new 20,000 square foot library building, designed by Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, was constructed for $4 million by the Blalock Construction Company, and opened in May 2018. The old building was sold to the Pelham Board of Education for administrative offices.
