Piece of Cake

Piece of Cake is a comedic short film written and directed by Jennifer West in 2006. The short tells the stories of three people involved in an impending wedding. Producer Alison Britt plays bridesmaid Claire Roundtree. Comedian Mo Rocca plays the brother of the bride, and Amy Kay Raymond plays Cheri, the wedding planner in the latter stages of pregnancy. Andor Besci and Michael Praytor of local production company The Film Smiths did the camera work, and the Silk e Smooth Show Band entertained for the film's reception scenes.

Birmingham's Real People provided talent for supporting roles during the June 2006 shoot. The short premiered during the 2006 Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival.

Film locations in Birmingham include Vulcan Park, Café Dupont, Bridal Bliss & Formal Wear, South Highland Presbyterian Church, and Arman's at Park Lane.
