Prepaid2Cash

Prepaid2Cash (P2C) is a financial technology company that publishes a smartphone app allowing users to redeem prepaid gift cards for bank transfer or check through the Memphis, Tennessee-based Evolve Bank & Trust. The company was founded in San Francisco, California in 2010 by John Gushman and Peter Vogt.

After winning investment capital from the Alabama Futures Fund in 2019 the company agreed to relocate its US headquarters offices to Birmingham. Its offices are currently at the Innovation Depot. Prepaid2Cash raised an additional $5.1 million in investment capital in a July 2021 financing round led by Benson Capital Partners.
