Dash Solutions
Dash Solutions, formerly Prepaid Technologies, is a Birmingham-based provider of financial services, specializing in helping companies distribute prepaid debit cards. The company was founded in 1998 by Tommy McCulley and has been headed by his son-in-law, CEO Stephen Faust since 2018. Steve Fussell is president of the company.
The company's offices have been located at Lakeshore Park Plaza and at 6 Office Park Circle in Mountain Brook's Office Park.
In March 2019 the company acquired the dash portfolio from Karmic Labs of San Francisco, California. In 2021 Princeton, New Jersey-based Edison Partners led a $96 million funding round to support the company's growth.
Prepaid Technologies rebranded as Dash Solutions in February 2023 and moved into larger office space at 600 University Park Place later that spring.
