The Robert & Betty Slaughter residence is a nine-bedroom mansion on a 13-acre lot at 2723 Cahaba Valley Road in Indian Springs Village. It was built in 1994 for gastroenterologist Robert Slaughter and his wife, Betty. It was designed by David Smelcer.

The spacious home has hosted nearly a dozen weddings and several "Miss Alabama" galas. The interior features a double-height den, a gourmet kitchen, a full master suite, and a large study. The lower level includes a 2,100 square foot apartment which was used by the Slaughter's son, Roddy and his daughter, Sydney. Outside the house is a 20'x42' swimming pool, a formal rose garden and a putting green.

The original 40-acre property has been subdivided over the years. The house is also accessible from the Cahaba Oaks subdivision.
