Samuel Heath

Samuel L. Heath (born in Equality, Coosa County) was the first pastor of Edgewood Baptist Church, serving from January to May 1920.

When the church was organized, the congregation chose Heath, a ministerial student at Howard College, as its pastor. Heath was a veteran of World War I.
