The Shelby County Fair is an annual county fair held in Columbiana to exhibit and promote Shelby County agriculture. The first fair was held in 1949 and John E. Jones served as organizer from 1958 until his death in 2009.

The 2009 fair, held September 21-26 at the Shelby County Exhibition Center, was hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Columbiana and Kiwanis Club of Chelsea and sponsored by Bryant Bank. It featured livestock exhibits, a petting zoo, farm product contests, craft contests, educational exhibits, music performances, carnival rides and kid's activities. Proceeds from the fair are donated to Shelby County Schools and various youth organizations.
