Sherlene McDonald (born c. 1976) is the current superintendent for Tarrant City Schools.
McDonald graduated from Tarrant High School in 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood / Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo in 1998. She went on to get Master of Art in Elementary Education; Educational Administrative Certificate; Educational Specialist; and Doctorate of Education.
In December 1998, she was hired at Tarrant Elementary School and has since held several positions in the district, including assistant principal and principal. She was named superintendent in May 2020.
She and her husband, Michael, has two sons, Tyler and Ryan.
