Southern Sky Aviation is a Birmingham-based company that charters flights, brokers aviation services, manages and maintains private aircraft and provides avionics and flight training services. The company was founded in 2018 by Bill Gunnells. It is headed by chief executive officer Bo Andrews. Donald Howell is president and chief financial officer.

The company operates from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport's Hangar 34 (West Ramp) at 4255 East Lake Boulevard and from Hangar 14 (East Ramp) at 4725 65th Place North (accessed from Runway Drive at 47th Avenue North). Southern Sky also maintains offices at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Southern Sky saw its charter business increase during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, though there was also a decline in aircraft maintenance contracts. In 2021 it acquired the fixed base operator license for Trent Lott International Airport in Pascagoula, Mississippi, which it operates as an affiliate of the Avfuel Corporation of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
