StadiumFest

StadiumFest with Scott Dawson and Friends is a free day-long Christian music festival organized by the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association and held at Samford University's Seibert Stadium on April 25, 2009.

About 160 churches assisted in producing and publicizing the event. Featured acts included Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio, Rush of Fools, and Kevin Derryberry. Speakers, including Scott Dawson, Rick Burgess and Bill Bussey, alternated with music acts to testify about their Christian faith and urge attendees to share theirs with others. Outside the stadium visitors were treated to kid's inflatables, BMX and extreme sports demonstrations, jugglers and puppeteers. The evening concluded with a fireworks display.
