The Steer Trail Inn was a restaurant and lounge located in the Clark Building at 1922 4th Avenue North. When it opened in early 1960 it featured choice aged steaks alongside seafood and oysters. A 1/2 pound filet was priced at $2.95 and lunch specials were priced at 75¢ to $1.00.
On April 15, 1961 the restaurant was converted to exclusively host private parties of up to 300 by reservation, and also offered off-site catering.
