Steve Robison was the program director and afternoon dj for WRAX-FM from April 2006 until the station folded in November of the same year. Before coming to Birmingham he had been fired in a December 2003 housecleaning at KTBZ in Houston, which he had helped to start up. He had served as morning co-host as well as program director for KTBZ, then spent about a year recovering from foot surgery before actively re-entering the job market.
