Readmission
We have three conflicting dates of Alabama's readmission to the Union in 1868:
- June 25: "Alabama was readmitted to the United States of America."
- July 14: "Alabama was officially re-admitted into the United States of America."
- July 25: "Alabama officially rejoined the United States with the swearing-in of 'carpetbagger' Senators George E. Spencer and Willard Warner."
Any idea which is correct? The last offers the most information. Our Alabama page agrees with July 14, so if we change it from that we need to remember also change it there. A quick glance at Wikipedia didn't provide a date. I've gone with no date in this article for the time being. --Lkseitz 14:01, 28 December 2011 (PST)
