Ancestry

Freeman Andress is a grandson of Freeman Daniel, the second mayor of Avondale, via Daniel's eldest child, Tommie Sue. I had no idea before the Freeman Daniel article John posted prompted me to research it because of all the familiar names. Freeman Andress's grandfather died before he was born, so I guess that's why he never spoke of it that I recall.   • Yeah, I wrote my parents the same time I wrote the above. My mom responded that Ms. Brown got most of her info from my mom, who has a copy of the Andress/Daniel family tree. It turns out Freeman Bradley Andress (this article) had an older brother named Freeman Daniel Andress who died as a toddler. (Don't know if that's in the book or not.)
