Street number 1800-2800 seem to indicate addresses in Birmingham or possibly the county, while 1-1000 are in Homewood. I don't know why there are no 300 or 500–700 blocks, but suspect it has to do with keeping the numbers somewhat consistent geographically across Homewood north to south. --Lkseitz 11:15, 9 March 2012 (PST)
