Sortable

  • Might be nice to do this as a sortable table (alphabetical, or by community) and maybe add fields for Council District, population (if available), neighborhood president, etc. --Dystopos 17:59, 21 October 2010 (PDT)
    • It seems like we have enough information to try it. --Dystopos (talk) 18:56, 1 June 2016 (PDT)
      • Can anyone figure out if this is something we can do? That way you could figure out that Powderly is the __th most-populous, or Fairview is the __th least populous. I guess that's all its good for. --Dystopos (talk) 12:50, 4 June 2016 (PDT)

Divisions (Public Works)

According to a mosquito control schedule posted in 2016, the Birmingham Department of Public Works divides the city's 99 neighborhoods into four geographical divisions:

Divisions (Framework plan)

The city's neighborhoods are also divided into quadrants for the development of Framework plans. --Dystopos (talk) 15:10, 24 May 2016 (PDT)

Project page

  • If someone is so motivated, it would probably be really cool to have a Birmingham neighborhoods project page to keep track of which ones are stubs and which are in good shape and can be used as models for the others. It could also be a place to discuss sources for information about neighborhoods. --Dystopos (talk) 15:09, 24 May 2016 (PDT)
