Tables

In general, and this is a personal preference, I find text lists superior to wikitables for flexibility, readability and editability. Unless there are hidden "sort by" or export functions available for wikitables, I don't see any advantage to adding all those bounding boxes and shoehorning data into column headings. (Excellent list, though!) --Dystopos 10:31, 13 September 2006 (PDT)

There aren't any built in sorting methods, but I saw some method of using JavaScript to add them over at Wikipedia. (Unfortunately, I don't remember where I saw that any more.) --Lkseitz 10:45, 13 September 2006 (PDT)
For this type of information, I felt the table would look better and provide clear breaks between the data. I completely agree with the appearence though, it just doesn't look all that great. Feel free to change up the page as you see fit! --Patriarca12 11:10, 13 September 2006 (PDT)

TR

Teddy Roosevelt was at the dedication of Corey (Fairfield) in March 1911, but was no longer president. (Just a note). --Dystopos 06:32, 31 March 2008 (PDT)

Thomas Jefferson

  • No. Thomas Jefferson never visited Birmingham, but a 1987 article about the Thomas Jefferson Hotel mentions Herbert Hoover and Calvin Coolidge as former guests. --Dystopos 13:31, 20 July 2012 (PDT)
