• The figure of 26 comes from a previous Birmingham News story which said there had been "at least 25" incidents since 1987. I added 1 to the total after the most recent spill. As of March 2007 the News is still reporting 25 incidents since 1987. (At least this is my recollection) --Dystopos 06:42, 16 March 2007 (PDT)

Restrictions

• It should probably be noted that sometime around the speed limit lowering, signs went up ordering virtually all commercial trucks to use I-459 unless taking I-65 Northbound, and I suspect they will all be required to use the bypasses entirely if the Northern Beltline ever gets completed.
