• Although it only took six months to complete, various sources give the date of construction as 1919, early 1920s, 1928 and 1931. Since I had one primary source with the most detail, I used the date it gave. --Dystopos 07:02, 16 July 2008 (PDT)

• My primary source copied verbatim from Burkhardt & Bowsher's special number of the Journal of the Birmingham Historical Society. It and Cinderella Stories confirm 1931 as the date. Oddly the building doesn't seem to be mentioned in the 1981 Southside-Highlands Report. --Dystopos 22:04, 17 July 2008 (PDT)
