Race

I think it is a disservice to not mention Henderson's race, since it was a primary factor in the incident occurring. The lack of it removes the context for readers. I don't mean to harsh, I just wanted to point it out because I'm not sure you were even conscious of omitting it. --Lkseitz (talk) 06:08, 14 October 2015 (PDT)

• At some point I made a conscious decision to remove race labels wherever I could, in hope that Andrew Beard could be worthy of note as an inventor rather than as a black inventor in the same way that Nancy Crews can be known as an aviator rather than as a lady pilot.
