Hillcrest Country Club

I don't know if Hillcrest was the "official" name, but this was the former site of the Zamora Shrine Temple, before it moved to Irondale. There was a swimming pool and a golf course. I spent many summers in the pool as well as going on Easter Egg hunts on the golf course, and going to Christmas parties inside the temple. I honestly don't know either. I took the name from UA's historical maps page. I remembered the property as belonging to the Shriners, but it was one of those places I never actually went to, just drove by all the time.
