R. H. Wharton Bridge

Birmingham Rewound says it's officially named the R. H. Wharton Bridge (about 3/4 down). My Google searches on that name came up empty except for a page at Vanderbilt saying they had a postcard of it, which unfortunately isn't shown. It's quite possible it's the same postcard shown at B'ham Rewound. --Lkseitz 22:35, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

  • I noticed a (new?) monument on the south-east corner when I drove on the bridge heading to Vestavia Hills a couple of weeks ago. It is in the median of the exit and entrance ramps. I'll try to get by there and snap a couple of pictures. --Wheresdib 05:51, 26 March 2008 (PDT)
  • Never mind about it being new, it is even mentioned in the article. --Wheresdib 07:04, 26 March 2008 (PDT)
