La pintura del bandito

A striking painting of a bandito by Paul Wilm is displayed in the main dining room.

  • Who says it's "striking"? To me, that reads like a promotion, not a 'pedia article.
  • I'm not crazy about the "bandito" reference, which skates very close to ethnic stereotyping. Kept the word, but put it in quotes. (The painting must have gone up since my last visit to Rojo, so i can't offer an alternative description.)

  • I think it's been there a while. You can see it in this photo. I think the "bandito" reference is pretty plain, but I'll leave the wording to the mercy of wiki editing. --Dystopos 21:32, 30 November 2006 (PST)
    • Oh, right! That guy! You're right, he's been menacing the clientele since the last century I think. ;-) -- Rob 17:19, 1 December 2006 (PST)
      • Weird thing is, I attended U of Montevallo with both Paul Wilm and his twin brother Peter. And I never realized that it was his painting at ROJO. He's on my Friends list on myspace, I should write his wiki. --Wheresdib 18:12, 1 December 2006 (PST)

CAPS?

Speaking of consistency, should the references to the restaurant's name be in all caps? We don't do it if the name is in all lowercase. To me it just looks weird in all caps. --Wheresdib 10:51, 31 July 2008 (PDT)

  • I think you're right. --Dystopos 11:13, 31 July 2008 (PDT)
