WSY was the first radio station in the Birmingham area. It started broadcasting in 1922 and was the first licensed radio station in Alabama. So my guess is that this station (WKBC) was the third station in the Birmingham area, not the second. Robert Matthews (talk) 15:02, 5 February 2023 (PST)
