Mayoral dates

Owen says Jemison was mayor from 1889–1890 (instead of 1880–1890), which is awfully short and he doesn't go into any details. I stuck with what's listed on the Mayor of Tuscaloosa page at the time I wrote Jemison's article. However, I also looked up Obediah Berry, his predecessor according to our article, and the dates are different for him as well. Could our 1985 source for the mayors be untrustworthy or is it Owen? --Lkseitz 07:31, 23 March 2012 (PDT)

• Owen may be more authoritative, but they were compiling an enormous amount of information for that history, so it would also be easy to have had some errors slip in. I guess we just keep looking... --Dystopos 08:44, 23 March 2012 (PDT)
