Early settlers
The history of the earliest settlers and the town's namesake given here does not agree with that given at the Wilsonville Town website. I assume it came from Foscue. --Lkseitz 09:57, 16 October 2012 (PDT)
- Yes, it is. She cites Patricia A. Tamarin (1983) "Some Place Names in Shelby County". unpublished research paper. University of Alabama. The "Wilsonville History" PDF linked from the city's website is far more detailed, and likely be more accurate. --Dystopos 11:08, 16 October 2012 (PDT)
