The Brummies are a band founded by John Davidson and Jacob Bryant, who have performed together since their days at Pinson Valley High School.

The pair recorded an EP at Joseph McQueen's Echelon Studios and landed a songwriting contract with Bob Doyle's Major Bob Music in Nashville. As John & Jacob they opened for The Band Perry during their UK tour in 2013. After their return, they wrote "Done", which The Band Perry took to number 1 on the country airplay charts.

The success of that track led the producers of the television drama "Nashville" to select "Be My Girl" for an episode soundtrack. They spent most of 2014 touring with Kacey Musgraves during her "Same Trailer Different Park" tour. Shortly afterward they brought on drummer Trevor Davis to form The Brummies, inspired by their UK experiences.

The band signed with Sandbox Entertainment and cut their first album, 2018's "Eternal Reach", at Battle Tapes Recording in Nashville, Tennessee.
