Tim Dyson

Tim Dyson (born in 1967, died 2002) was a truck driver from Killen, (Lauderdale County) Alabama.

On Saturday, January 2, 2002, Dyson was killed in a deadly accident at Birmingham's Malfunction Junction. Driving an 18-wheeler for Baggett Oil Company of Lynchburg, Tennessee, he lost control of his rig while attempting to avoid another motorist who has cut across his lane to get to the ramp from I-65 northbound to I-20/I-59 northeast. His rig would crash into one of the main bridge supports killing him instantly. The reconstructed bridge has since been named in his honor.
