Timothy Hayes Yule, known as Tim Rooney (born January 4, 1947 in Birmingham; died September 23, 2006 in Hemet, California) was an actor and voice actor.

Rooney was the son of actor Mickey Rooney and his second wife, the former "Miss Birmingham" Betty Jane Rase. He and his older brother, Mickey Rooney, Jr were tapped as backup Mouseketeers on the original "The Mickey Mouse Club" television series in 1955. His acting career was interrupted by a serious bout with polio, which left him unable to walk for two years.

He appeared in the 1962 ABC sitcom "Room for One More", and with his father in the 1964-65 ABC sitcom "Mickey". He also had roles in the films Village of the Giants, Riot on Sunset Strip, and in numerous television series. As a voice actor he portrayed "Theodore" in the Alvin & the Chipmunks cartoons.

Later he joined Mickey, Jr and half-brother Teddy Rooney as "The Rooney Brothers" on Columbia Records. Rooney, who suffered from debilitating dermatomyositis, died in 2006 at his California ranch.
