Tommy Buffington (born c. 1928; died 2004) was an advertiser based in Texarkana, Texas, known to Birmingham television viewers as T. Buff, spokesman for Mr King Furniture. The character, dressed in a white suit and hat, made a folksy appeal and bowed deeply while shouting "Thank You!!".
Buffington appeared in commercials elsewhere as Texas T., using the same personality. He retired from promotions in Lenoir, North Carolina where his son, Randy, operated a furniture outlet.
