U.S. Teks was an information technology (IT) services company based at 120 Yeager Parkway in Pelham. Founded by CEO Paul Franks in 2001, the company was acquired by Kentucky-based NetGain Technologies on September 1, 2013.
U.S. Teks provided IT professionals for a flat rate to companies that did not have their own IT staff. The company offered a variety of services, including backup & disaster recovery, hosting, hardware as a service (Haas), and voice over IP (VoIP), and worked in several industries, including health care, manufacturing, transportation, and property management. After the acquisition, NetGain planned to retain the Pelham office and staff.
